NANCY DUCKO-SWEENEY, SOUTH BRUNSWICK HIGH SCHOOL
2025-2026 Administrator of the Year
Nancy Ducko-Sweeney has demonstrated throughout her tenure a profound commitment to fostering student leadership, innovation, and empowerment within her school community, supporting its Student Council program and
advocacy for student-led initiatives that have significantly impacted our school community...
In the words of Student Council President Rishita Nossam, “She is much more than an Assistant Principal, she provides a support system for students, allows us to voice our concerns to her, and genuinely hears us out about our questions and concerns...she cares about making a difference and takes student input seriously.”
In the words of Student Council Advisor Harlee Olsen, “What sets her apart is her unwavering dedication to building relationships…she makes it a priority to know students and staff personally, always seeking ways to support, uplift, and meet their needs both big and small…her warmth, advocacy, and leadership have left a lasting mark on our school community.”
We congratulate Nancy Ducko-Sweeney and the entire South Brunswick High School community on this award. It is clear to see that the school spirit, positive climate and student achievement at SBHS is a direct and tangible result of the guidance, support, and encouragement of their Assistant Principal!
