Honor School

This award recognizes accumulated years that schools follow criteria recognized by NJASC as being important for developing and maintaining a successful Student Council program. Nominees are carefully reviewed by the NJASC Middle Level Representative and then the award winners are decided upon by the State Officers at their December executive meeting.

Applications for this award are available in September and the deadline for submission is in late November. Certificates are presented to all award winners, along with plaques for each five year milestone, at the Winter Convention in January.

In order for an application to be considered...

  • Your school MUST be an current (2026-2027) active member school of NJASC in good standing. No exceptions will be made to this policy.

  • The completed application form and all accompanying materials must be scanned/e-mailed (NO snail mail accepted) to Middle Level Representative Meesha Patel by November 25, 2026

  • The expectation for all applicants is that they will be in attendance at the 2027 NJASC Winter Convention, where the awards will be announced and presented.
